FREE Family museums and transport offer

14 November

Launch Event: FREE Family Day at Eureka! Museum, Wirral (10.00-17.00)

Eureka! Museum in Wallasey will be throwing open their doors for FREE for anyone with a Golden Baby Week ticket for ‘one day only’ on 14 November.

Mersey Ferries have also generously matched the Eureka offer with family tickets for a 50-minute FREE Mersey Cruise which will take family groups to Eureka’s door.

We also have support from our friends at Northern and Merseyrail to get you and your family to the events.

This year the Improving Me team are building on our relationship with National Museums Liverpool family team. They will be delivering a bespoke Baby Week programme which will run from 14-20 November.

FREE Baby Massage Workshop for families (11.00) and healthcare professionals and volunteers (19.30) with Bee Happy Babies.

Violence Against Women and Girls Roundtable (10.00 - 12.30)

We are hosting this important discussion with key stakeholders from across the region and beyond about how services must prioritise tackling VAWG and the preventative actions already in place. Email wham.engagement@cheshireandmerseyside.nhs.uk for further information.

Baby Week 2025 Closing Celebration Event (11.00-19.00)

Join us at Liverpool Central Library for a jam-packed finale event!

Free family photography, women’s health and family advice services, Menopause Game, Art’s Exhibitions and special performances from Britain’s Got Talent Finalist’s, Pop Choir!

11am

Free Baby Photography! Enjoy photos in time for the festive season.

Women’s health teams and advice services will be on hand to support and offer signposting PLUS join us as we debut the Menopause Game!

11.30am Singing Mamas showcase.

Join the grassroots movement of women including mamas, nurses, doctors, midwives, musicians, teachers and community workers who are all committed to improving wellbeing through singing.

1.30pm First of 2 special LIVE performances from Britain’s Got Talent Finalists, LC Pop Choir!

2pm All welcome to The Darker Side of Pink Exhibition launch.

Continuing the 2024 Baby Week theme, I See You, we will be raising awareness of a new exhibition will highlight the work of METUPUK UK, the only patient advocacy group specifically dedicated to metastatic breast cancer (MBC), focusing on research funding and advocating for MBC to be a chronic illness.

3pm LIVE performance from Britain’s Got Talent Finalists, LC Pop Choir!

 5pm Interactive Performance from women-led the 51% class of 2025!

We invite everyone who has been through or is continuing to go though a personal women’s health journey to find solidarity and empowerment at this special event. We welcome discussion, questions and storytelling. Let us know you are coming and get your free drink here.

During the day, through Improving Me’s commitment to addressing digital poverty and a specific digital gender gap, Baby Week will build on the ongoing partnership with the Liverpool Combined Authority. There will be some pop-up activity with the Digital Inclusion Team, looking to enable more women to get online.
