Cheshire and Merseyside Maternity Voices Launch Event - 8 Dec
21 November 2017
We would be delighted if you could join us for the launch of Cheshire and Merseyside Maternity Voices Event on:
DATE: FRIDAY 8TH DECEMBER 2017
TIME: 12PM - 2PM
VENUE: LIVERPOOL CENTRAL LIBRARY, DISCOVER ROOM, L3 8EW.
Our event aims to bring together members of Maternity Support Liaison Committees from across the region – as well as any parents and families that they engage – to encourage collaboration, share best practice and discuss ideas for the future. The day will also include a festive twist, with light refreshments, carol singing and a visit from Father Christmas himself! Also, we are delighted to be joined by our special guest Poet Terry Caffery.
We recognise that only by working together can we provide improved maternity experiences for everyone across Cheshire and Merseyside. As a valued member of this community, we really hope you are able to attend.
All children are welcome and encouraged to attend the event - so please bring them along!
Please feel free to bring along any colleague, parent or peer who may be interested or you feel should be involved.
If you are unable to join us on the day, it would be much appreciated if you could arrange a further representative, deputy or colleague to attend in your place.
A full itinerary for the day will be circulated in due course. If you have any questions in the meantime please don’t hesitate to contact Keeley.McClennan@haltonccg.nhs.uk.
Please feel free to circulate flyer attached.
What is Maternity Voices?
Maternity Voices is a group of health care professionals and members of the public who meet to discuss the maternity services in our area.
Maternity Voices takes forward issues raised by maternity service users by looking at aspects of the service in detail and making recommendations for improvements. Service users, providers and commissioners then work together on putting these into practice.
