The Music Connection
26 September 2022
A collaboration between Improving Me, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Primary Care Social Prescribing teams and St Helens Library Service aims to improve the health and wellbeing of women and babies through music activities.
Musicians from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic will help to create a calm and encouraging environment for mothers and babies to build connections, both during and after pregnancy. Mothers will will be able to explore singing, simple musical instruments, movement, and the music of other cultures with their baby.
Initial sessions are booked from October into December, and the programme will adapt and evolve, guided by feedback and focus groups with participants.
