Launch of Cheshire and Merseyside Teenage Pregnancy Forum

In June 2023, the Cheshire and Merseyside Women’s Health and Maternity Programme launched its first Cheshire and Merseyside Teenage Pregnancy Forum.

The purpose of the forum is to explore how we can work together to reduce teenage conception rates across the Cheshire and Merseyside areas.

The forum has representation from commissioners, public health leads, the voluntary sector, and service providers. The forum will share areas of good practice, understand, and identify barriers that are impacting young people’s sexual and reproductive health choices and foster a collaborative approach to improving outcomes for teenagers.
